This laptop was tested with OpenSUSE 11.2 and KDE SC 4.3.5 Installed Ubuntu 10.04 on this netbook and everything worked out of the box, including suspend/resume.
Former problems with the fan seems to be solved by now.
The Acer Aspire One D250 is running fast and stable under Linux even with only 1 GB ram.
