- supports legacy boot in addition to secure and insecure UEFI booting
- Xubuntu 14.10 works right out of the box *almost* entirely without any tweaking, but touchpad stopped working after resume. Switched to Linux Mint. Linux kernel needs these boot options: “acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor” ; to make this permanent, add these to /etc/default/grub line for GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT and run “update-grub”. Otherwise battery monitoring and LCD brightness may not work. Now, everything seems to work fine.
