 +- Xubuntu 14.10 works right out of the box *almost* entirely without any tweaking, but touchpad stopped working after resume. ​ Switched to Linux Mint.  Linux kernel needs these boot options: "​acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor"​ ; to make this permanent, add these to /​etc/​default/​grub line for GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT and run "​update-grub"​. ​ Otherwise battery monitoring and LCD brightness may not work.  Now, everything seems to work fine.
