The backlight control might need the kernel option “acpi_backlight=vendor” for FN keys to work. Apprently this did not yet work with the Ubuntu 13.04 kernel. Arch Linux with kernel 3.16 worked automatically.


Works out of the box in Ubuntu 13.10, except for one kernel commandline option and the card reader. Works out of the box with Arch Linux (Nov. 2014), except for the card reader.
