Fingerprint Reader It's a UPEK TouchStrip. USB ID is 147e:1000 which gets not recognized by the system out of the box. Some users reported getting it working with fprint and Fingerprint GUI, but not with KDM.
Works very well out of the box. Tested with Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.
