 +The NVidia GeForce Go7600 chip can function either with the 'nv' driver included with Xorg or the proprietary module from NVIDIA.You can view our [[Configuring a nVidia graphics chip for Linux|Configuring a nVidia graphics chip]] installation guide for further details.
 +The ethernet port on the Asus A6Jm is supported by the r1000 driver. This is a proprietary module so is not included with most Linux distributions. You can fetch this driver from [[http://downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&amp;PNid=13&amp;PFid=5&amp;Level=5&amp;Conn=4&amp;DownTypeID=3&amp;GetDown=false#2|here]]. When kernel version 2.6.19 is release it should have built in support for the ethernet port so no extra installation will be required.
 +===== Summary =====
 +The ethernet controller is the major issue with the Asus A6Jm, but this should be solved shortly. The other features of this laptop work fine.
