 +You can enter a summary of how well the Asus B53J works with Linux here.
 +I was able to successfully test everything but the modem (probably either a Winmodem or Linmodem) and the Expresscard slot, the latter of which only because I don't have a card for it, even though it almost certainly will work with one.
 +To use the opensource drivers for Xorg and get the most out of the ATI video card, be sure that your kernel is properly configured and using the correct firmware (all the "​Cedar_*.bin"​ firmware and "​CYPRESS_uvd.bin"​).
 +Also, be sure to use the "​--with-drivers=all"​ flag with configure when building libfprint to detect the fingerprint reader.
