 +You can run Ubuntu on this notebook, but you must disable the ACPI, seems like only Debian and OpenSuse(haven;​t tried Fedora) have the driver for the ACPI, Ubuntu drop the support for the ACPI starting from 10.04

 +Ubuntu lovers? just forget it... it is pain in the ass to disable the ACPI everytime you reboot
 +except if you modified the grub configuration,​ but the side effect is your notebook will drain battery faster
