You should install the NVIDIA drivers for the 9500M GS. See the guides section on this site for details.
Sounds doesn't appear to work at all, the system looks like it detects the sound controller correctly but nothing is played out of the speakers.
The sound issue is a real problem with the Asus F8Sn, other than that the laptop works well.
