 +===== Notes =====
 +I'm running a Debian (testing) machine with KDE on kernel 2.6.32.
 +The system is running stable and fast and except for wlan installation I had no greater issues.
 +
 +The sound and wlan card couldn't be made to work with the 2.6.26 kernel.
 +Don't waste time trying to get it to work and go for 2.6.28 directly (or higher, of course). <del>Debian hasn't included this kernel
 +version in its repositories yet, so you will have to get it from www.kernel.org and compile it yourself.</del>
 +
 +To get wlan running, don't forget to include the iwlagn module. It's located in
 +<code>make menuconfig > Device Drivers > Network Device Drivers > Wireless LAN</code>
 +Then get and install the firmware for the 5000 series as described here: http://wiki.debian.org/iwlagn
 +Current kernel builds include this module; the firmware can be installed via aptidude (firmware-iwlwifi).
 +
 +I recommend you also install NetworkManager+knetworkmanager or wicd to manage your wlan networks.
 +I had to join group "netdev" for it to work correctly. This will always try to connect and keep the
 +connection to your favorite network without the usual console pain.
 +
 +===== Summary =====
 +I really like this notebook =) And more so since it has a debian on its hard disk drive =D
